The Tearjerkers Sessions - The Lost Studio Album  can now be downloaded from the Soundclick  link below. This near mythical recording was believed to be lost for good but now we can bring you the album almost as it would have appeared in 1980.

Etc Etc

Early in 1981 Paul Maxwell Gregg Lindsay and Paul McIlwaine went back to Downtown Studio's Belfast to record two sessions with their new band Etc Etc. The first session was recorded for local radio station Downtown and the second session was recorded for a single release 'Voice of the Nation'. The Etc Etc sound is darker and more experimental than the Tearjerkers. This cassette version of the material will be of interest to anyone interested in the Tearjerkers. Etc Etc released some of these tracks on Blue Rhythm Audio as a Cassette Mini Album which sold very well locally in Northern Ireland. The band folded when Paul McIlwaine left to seek his fortune in London late in 1981.
